Helen Parsely
Helen Parsley was formally trained as an illustrator at Manchester University in 1985, achieving a BA Honours degree. Since then she has produced illustrations in pencil and acrylic colour for book covers all over the world such as Britain, America and Saudi Arabia. More recently, Helen has pursued her main interest in fine art landscapes and exhibited at Lyme Hall, Dunham Hall, Macclesfield Town Hall, and galleries in Cheshire and Chelsea. Helen now specialises in dramatic landscape scenes and has been heavily influenced by the many trips over the Snake Pass to her home town of Sheffield. Working mainly in acrylic paints, using the vibrant colours to their full potential, together with her exciting use of light, her paintings often look almost photographic.
